Lets Go! To Japan
What do you do when your friends invite you to go to Japan with them on their family trip? You go (duh)! The plan is to meet the the Cordina family in Tokyo since we are leaving from Chicago and they are leaving from Minnesota. During our first four days in Tokyo, we will enjoy some baseball, museums, and city life.
From there, we will make our way south to Hakone, home of Mt. Fuji. Belinda and Charles will stay at sea level while the rest of the group hikes Mt. Fuji.
According to Google AI, Mount Fuji is not currently erupting, and there is no suggestion that an eruption is imminent. However, because it is an active volcano, NHK WORLD-JAPAN frequently broadcasts reports and documentaries regarding crisis preparation and government disaster scenarios should an eruption occur.
Finally, we will make our way to Kyoto, with a day trip to Nagoya for a Sumo tournament. We’ll hit the bikes, go to the Nintendo Museum, visit all sort of shrines and temples, and cap it off with one of Japan’s largest festivals.
So… LET’S GO!!! TO JAPAN
